Fwd: FW: Sweet Horse for adoption from Summit 4H

We have one of our sweet lesson horses available for adoption.  We are trying to find a home for him where he can roam about in a pasture and have an easy, retired life.  Can you forward this email on to your club members, or anyone else you think might be interested?

Boss is a 17 yo sorrel gelding who needs to retire becasue of his arthritis.  He is so kind and sweet, extremely well mannered, and never gives us any trouble.  He would be perfect for someone who wanted a horse pet or a companion horse.  He is very gentle and trustworthy- little kids or grandkids can brush him and take care of him and he will not hurt them.  Boss can be ridden at a walk, especially if the kids just wanted to trail ride on your property or take a walk about the pasture.  Boss loves to trail ride, but we keep his rides short so he doesn't get sore.  He has front shoes on and is up to date on all immunizations and dewormer.  He gets along well with other horses, he will not let himself get pushed around too much by other horses but might get picked on if there was a real dominant or aggressive horse.

Thank you!

Jennifer Hoppe
